[ˌɛnviː'kjuː](= National Vocational Qualification) diploma di istruzione secondaria in materie tecnico-praticheCultural note: NVQ In Gran Bretagna, Galles e Irlanda del Nord si chiamano National Vocational Qualifications o NVQs i diplomi rilasciati da alcuni istituti tecnici professionali al termine di corsi indirizzati principalmente a chi è già inserito nel mondo del lavoro e desidera un riconoscimento 'formale'; tuttavia anche in alcune scuole secondarie è possibile prepararsi agli NVQs in alternativa o in aggiunta ai "GCSEs" e agli "A levels". La valutazione viene effettuata attraverso test pratici e esami orali e scritti. In Scozia il diploma equivalente si chiama "Scottish Vocational Qualifications" (o "SVQs").
